In my early work I combined various styles from expressionism
to pop art, with the intention that both abstract and figurative
aspects should work together, and I had even started to refer
myself as some sort of visual DJ.
Over time, my work has become totally abstract but, although the
styles blend together, they still retain elements of a broad range
of genres.
My paintings progress through a form of Automatism, while I think
about colour, composition and the aim to reach the ideal aesthetic
of everyday life, that finally completes a painting.
The names of my paintings are more like nicknames than titles.
The name is not intended to be descriptive of the painting, which
stands alone to be discovered and explored for its inner beauty.

'relating to or denoting art that does not attempt to represent
external, recognisable reality.' - The Oxford English Dictionary, Eleventh Edition.
"Of all the arts, abstract painting is the most difficult. It
demands that you know how to draw well, that you have a heightened
sensitivity for composition and for colours, and that you be a
true poet. This last is essential.' - Wassily Kandinsky
